Sunshine

Good morning!!!! Ahh this morning was so frosty and pretty, and if I'm honest I think it's the closest thing to snow we're going to get. *sad face*. Do you have snow yet, if you do tell me all about it in the comments,  I'm so jealous and need talks of weather mishaps to sooth me!
For Christmas me and my sister both got bikes, which I'm so thankful for. But I never realised how unfit I was, or how hard it is to cycle up a hill that is easy to walk up- until I owned a bike. But with these frosty photos from this morning and the sunset images of our cycle I'm sure you'll agree that the leg pain is worth it!!
I'm loving the weather and I hope you are too. I bought a new red lipstick this week on a three for two offer and I cant wait to wear it as it gets me excited for this cold weather and maybe snow *fingers crossed*. I'm off too work now so see you later.
Ps. I'm thinking of blogging a jewellery post as I tweeted it and got a response. So watch this space (twitter in links above or search @b3thkara)

We Moved!

These past few months have been super super busy!!!! We moved house, this is one of the reasons why I haven't blogged as much as we had no wifi. This made me very sad. But our home is beautiful but we're still settling in!
Oh and let's not forget christmas. One highlight was a carol service purely lit buy real candles, how pretty!
I really hope all of you had a Christmas filled with family and those you love. I'm so ready for a new year whilst still reveling in What's happened already. I might even right a posg full of my and the worlds highlights! :) Here are just a few pictures of carols and candles, christmas and moving out.
love you all and have an amazing week - Beth

Bare Faced and What

Blogger and Youtuber Zoella (Zoe Sugg) has long been an advocate for skincare. She is known for her well put together makeup up look, but recently stressed that she does not wear make up every day. She also started a twitter trend of #BareFacedandWhat. I scrolled through all the tweets related to it and was flooded by beautiful no make up selfies and favourited loads. It was so refreshing and i was inspired by this. It has helped me be confident without makeup and reminded me that God loves us without makeup too (i love makeup as much as the next person as it is fun, but hey have a day off!) And reminded me of Luke 12:7

"Indeed the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows"

I love this verse. To look after my skin I use the above products to keep it clean and hydrated but not to oily.
happy Tuesday! Much love ♥

Time is Precious

I always feel im wasting my time away sitting and doing nothing. Then time just escapes me. But the time I remember most is not the wild night on twitter etc. Note my sarcasm. But the treasured night with friends and family. I'm the worst for prioritising but I'm trying and I hope you are too. Make the most of people around you and make the beat memories. Just like how I treasured the time Emma made for me to come and see her ♡
She's gone off to uni and I'm so proud. Plus I get to travel on train for a short  time to see her. We called our best friend Jemma and we just caught with each other and made plans to see eachother. I met her flatmates and had the best time I'll never forget. So thankyou emma ♥

Night Time Product I Can't Live Without

This product I nabbed in a body shop sale. I've never really been one to spend money on skincare but I have this desire that has recently ignited to look after my skin so when I take of my make-up (yes I may look tired) I'll have the best skin that me and my body can achieve. So I'm taking baby steps. At £2.50 I practically ran to the checkout with this product. For me my oily skin has always been an insecurity. I would hardly miss a day with no make up. I'd only ever moisturise when I remembered and was hesitant thinking my skin would get super oily too quickly but those little dry patches made me get up and do something about it too. I thoroughly recommend this product. It is The Body Shop's seaweed clarifying night serum. It wasn't greasy when I put it on, it was clear with no perfume or bad odour, it was perfect for me. I new the seaweed would cleanse and the serum formula would hydrate and balance my skin. I love that it is great for sensitive skin and that the ingredients are all fair trade.

So if I am unable to ever find this product again please, please, please can you let me know what you use and why you love it so much as I want to create a little catalogue/blogpost for all of you to get your opinions out there and have a place where you can find honest reviews for different products!

Please get involved and contact me through the comments,

I want to interact and natter with you all. I love to make friends, chat to me even if you don't want to share a product!

Teatime On A Budget

A lot of people my age have gone to university. It's definitely a time filled with fun, making memories but also a time filled with no parents to look after you. These past two weeks me and my sisters has been away from home looking after our friends puppies (as above) and were in charge of foodly duties and shopping- scary *breathes deeply*. One meal we made was very cheap and very much surprised our lack of culinary skills. CURRY!
I'm not fussed on curry but i loved it so i'm sure you will two. We simply cut aubergine and sweet potatoe into similar size chunks and roasted with a tea spoon of oil until soft (medium-high heat  for about half an hour.) We then microwaved some Uncle Ben's wholegrain rice and heated Sharwood's jarred korma sauce in a pan and stirred in the roasties! SERVE AND YOUR DONE. SO QUICK.
After being healthy we then ruined it with the delicious pots as pictured above from Waitrose. All 100% natural. I chose sticky toffee pudding, Harry Potters favourite pudding ♡

Septemper Makeup Look

This month I've really been embracing the change of weather, and of course makeup to follow suit.
I'm not a person to wear make up every day but when I do I try not to wear the same thing every day. I don't spend much on make up either so I just make the most of whatever's rattling in my box.

My favourite look is one with eyeliner with I haven't worn in a while and won't wear if im doing natural makeup, teamed with a berry lip.

To start I use toner to remove any dirt, and conceal using the Collection concealer in 001 and cover using Rimmel Better Skin Foundation.  I have quite rosey yet pale skin so I use bronzer to contour and ad warmth. Then fill in my eyebrows using the Collection Brow kit (2.99- bargain!) And then use the light shade over my lids. Eyeliner is next followed by lipstick (alway teamed with a neutral eye) in Revlon's Black Cherry. I've always struggled putting dark colours on so I learned to use a firm thin brush and the lipstick to line my lips and fill inwards with he brush too. Then put on the stick as normal. I hope you like the look!

Ps. I thought I'd try out a new syle for me with this High neck jumper from newlook. I'm telling myself if you like it wear it!!!

Take a step back.

Life can sometimes be a little hectic and can get on top of you. Sometimes you just need to take a moment and not stress about the little things.  For me unsuccessfully searching for jobs was getting me down. Knowing this I decided to give it all to God. I know that he has my life in His hands and we are not designed to worry. Wether you have a relationship with God or not, know that you are loved and that worrying about the little details will not change thay they may or may not happen. So does it really make sense to over think things?

Appreciate life's little beauties, the people around you (who need you as much as you need them) and be amazed by faultless creation. Most importantly love who you are ♡

Autumn's Almost Here.

Today it really sunk in that autumn is here. The weather was warm enough to venture out the house without a coat. But this evening, you can see by the photo that is was sunny but a little chilly.

So at the moment I've been looking for full time work as I haven't decided whether to go to uni or not. Also as we're moving near Porthcawl we set off and started searching, (me and my sister that is) whilst enjoying an ice and lemonade at the Seafront hotel in the process.

This is Hannah on the right :)

The weather was so beautiful and with a view to match I had a great morning.

This week me and my sisters are looking after our friends puppies so we had to visit today to sort it all. The puppies have grown so much! I'm determined to feature them in a post in the next two weeks that we're caring for them. But my favorite part of the day was visiting The Body Shop and I actually bought something,  for the first time ever there!!! Yes that's true I've never purchased anything from the body shop. But there 30 percent off on three items and 40 percent off when you get four seemed to good to be true! Yet it was and I caved. This is what I got;

p.s I love that the bags are good for the environment!

I know many people hate this scent but I love it. It's quite strong so should last all through work.

This second one I'm a little worried about, I have oily skin and have been using biore charcoal face wash which has been super and my pores have shrunk. But moisturiser makes my face greasy *sad face*. This serum claims to moisturise skin whilst helping combat oily skin. Lets hope it works!  Anyone tried it and knows it's results??? Let me know in the comments or on twitter ♡♡♡

Lots of love,
Bethany

Stop Split Ends

Want to prevent more split ends appearing? But don't want to keep buying products that you're not even sure will work. Take the natural root and plait. Plaits are a proven way to stop split ends occurring as as the follicles aren't moving around, getting tugged or destroyed by heat and brushing. Just plait your hair before bed and wake up with soft and beach worthy waved hair.

Waves with no heat or damage.
Love your hair guys
