Hair Envy

Ever since cutting my hair short I have had serious hair envy, well okay even long before then. I guess it's one of those things I can't help, I will always want someone else's hair style. So I thought I'd put together a little mood board/list of hair I wish I secretly had. But the reality is I'll just sit here willing my hair to grow, and that I will wake up with perfectly styled hair.Which is too to much to ask...clearly...
My first picture of inspiration is Zoella! I love her hair too much and the length is just gorgeous, too late for a head transplant?

Next up is the Olsen's ever-changing hair. The main reason i love their hair is purely because they pull off the boho/bead-head look so well! Something I could never do! The fact that the have an incredible sense of style just adds and adds.

They're like little chameleons,  I mean what are the chances of them pulling off the pastel look too?! (if I said I was only a little jealous I would be telling a lie from the pit)

Okay I'll admit that one of the reasons I chose this one is pure;y based on her beautiful floral hat. But also this season I am loving the straight harsh cuts you see more often, the addition of the plait and waves gives the cut a softer more feminine feel.

Once again long hair, I know, but I can't help myself! This is my friend Emma and I hold serious hair envy over her! Even when she has it in a loose bun it never fails to make me see red!

This was only short, but there you have it, a little snippet of hair I love this winter/spring which is causing me to rage out in hair anger and envy... So is there any hairstyles, colours or cuts you have been coveting recently? I think if any girl said they weren't coveting a little something of someone else's hair, they could quite possibly be telling a little fib, well I would be if I said that!

I Bought A New Nail Polish: George's Mint Polish

Okay not that exiting I know, but I thought I'd share it anyway! As we all know painting nails can be a tedious task, but the end result is always rewarding. Personally I think coloured nails can add to a whole look and I enjoy finding out what shades people have been wearing.

Unfortunately I haven't had the money to by a really good quality polish so I thought I'd try out a cheaper one and see if it lives up to the higher price (and supposedly better quality) nails polishes out there. Whenever I walk to school I will usually have a little browse in some shops to pass time. I was in Asda and this is were I stumbled across my latest by, priced at only £1 I couldn't just leave it be, could I? Although I was sceptical about the quality at that price. But I got it anyway.

Another bonus is that I found the colour I've wanted for a while and picked up a beautiful blue, almost mint- green polish (did I mention it was beautiful?) called 'smarty pants'. Odd name I know. On the bottle it said it was quick dry, and painting it on while writing this blog is proof it is! Thanks George! Although I must admit it needed a few coats, but I find some polishes, no matter what the price usually do, so this didn't bother me all that much. So here is the final result!

Sorry for the bad quality, I seem to have misplaced the charger for the camera *sobs quietly in the corner*
I have ghost hands, attractive.

What I'd like to know is if you have ever found any really good quality beauty bargains and would you ever by something so ridiculously low-priced it seemed like a myth to be any good?

I feel like I should say thanks to Ted for helping with this blog, cheers Ted!

Carmex Review!

Right here and now, I will blatantly admit that I am a complete (and this will never change) a complete Vaseline (lips) devotee. But there comes times when Vaseline bores me, Yes I do know it's amazing fr almost anything, but at times I've seen it so much I want to throw it to the bottom of an endless ravine. them ultimately regret my actions and will just scold myself countless amounts of times until abut a new one.

I especially loved this limited addition Pink Bubbly Vaseline, it was perfect for soft lips, cuticles and skin and even great for taming unruly brows!

But every now and then I will stumble across a different or new kind of lip care and won't be able resist leaving the traditional for the new. I've used Chap sticks, and even the lip balms that taste like sweets and now I was drawn to Carmex lip balm.

I saw this and the first ting that pulled me in was the packaging. It was easily noticeable and I couldn't not have a little browse! (forgive me!) I think the shape of the tube did it for me, it was one of those 'squirty' tubes (clearly my mind is blank for adjectives...), like the kind you see for lip gloss and the sunshine yellow was just to happy to bypass! Also the little cherry image caught my eye, I absolutely adore the smell of cherries, you?

I guess it almost has a slight vintage feel to it to,  Basically a man, Alfred Woelbing, started experimenting with creating his own line of lip balm and other cosmetic products in the early 1930s. He began by selling the product from the trunk of his car. Popularity increased through word-of-mouth - really just everyone telling each other through a good old gossip!

Thankfully the lip balm is available in different smells and flavours such as strawberry, vanilla, lime, mint and so much more!

Well I figured that one of the main reasons (apart from how pretty it looked) is that it is up there with Vaseline  benefit wise. Carmex for me was really great at making my lips smooth whilst actually helping heal chapped skin. It smelt great- even to the point where one of my friends Peyton would sit there and smell it- no lie. Also it has SPF 15 built in which is a must for any lip care. But the best part being that it looked great on, it wasn't to wet or heavy and gave your lips the soft but lightly glossed look, beautiful

Well it certainly gave me a smile and a thumbs up, and i would recommend it to any Vaseline bored, lip-lovers to give it a try!

I could't find an ecstatic face (darn!), so I opted for a snow picture instead, snow makes everyone smile, right?
