How To: 5 Minute Updo

This honeatly is more a discovery rather than a tutorial. But we've all been in the situation where hair bobbles are randomly disappearing -frustrating- and clips up sticks and leave. But rumaging in bags, pockets and hidden corners of your room no one should ever see; you can be sure to find something.
All you will need is (if you haven't lost completely everything!) One bobble and around five clips.
I discovered this hair style when pressed for time one morning before school (the style can work for socialising with friends, school or non formal work places- it works best on mid to long hair). I needed my hair up quick! But not just a bun or ponytail. I compromised with a messy updo using what I had.

Star t with your hair down. You can brush it to help with knots but messy gives texture too. This hairstyle literally takes only five minutes.

To start tie your hair in a messy bun at the nape of you neck. Pull loosly at the side and  front of your hair to make it look casual and to what you prefer.

Then using the bobby pins arrange the bun upward on you head using the pins to secure it.You can do it in whatever arrangement you like.

I squished my bun to my head in no order so it looked messy! Have a go and let me know how you found it. :)
This is what it looked like at the back. The front was my fringe and loose tendrils of hair to make it look carefree and girly.

OOTN: Pre Drinks and Zia Nina

Days are rushing by and people I've grown up with are slowly becoming eighteen: adults! I still have ages to go though *phew- I can still act like a kid and get away with it*
Birthdays are ever present now but it means I can let go of school for a while and celebrate.
Recently my good friend Jess turned 18 and to celebrate we went for a meal to a lovely restaurant called Zia Nina in Bridgend. They have delicious Italian food. Of course those who were 18 went to town in the night to help jess celebrate! The Birthday Girl looked breathtaking.

I wore;
a peter pan collar lbd from George
at Asda,
a vintage mint green shirt (fave colour ahh),
Black tights and platform daps from Barrats,
A browb tassle side bag from George At Asda and
Tommy Hilfiger 'Eau de Prep' perfume.
Whats your favourite vintage piece?
